English Riding Lessons

We are a English Hunter and Jumpers stable. We train and teach English riding lessons to all ages and skill levels. Our facility includes an Indoor arena and two outdoor arenas, a 24 stall barn with wash stall, tack room and a very nice heated bathroom.

We are now accepting new member online registrations. We offer classes on a month by month basics, or you can sign up for a three month session, which ever you prefer. Take a look at our available class listings below. Then, when you're ready, click on the register link to sign up for your class. It's that easy!

When you register with us for the first time, you will be directed to our online Registration Form where you can create your own Paddock Place account and become an instant valued member. We have tried to make it as easy for you as possible to select the classes you desire, the skill level, the times you prefer and the days you want to ride.

Available Class Lessons

Beginner English Classes

These classes are suitable for beginners of all ages. We ask that you select the starter private lesson class if you have never been on a horse before so that you can make a smooth transition into a beginner group class setting. We teach new riders mainly Hunter (no jumping) at first in these classes. Then we introduce very low jumps (poles on the ground), as riders become more comfortable and confident. Class tuition is based on one month enrollment and runs perpetually month to month.

Please note: For the safety and well being of our riders and lesson horses, our rider weight limit is 210 lbs.

Intermediate English Classes

These classes are for Intermediate riders who can walk, trot, canter and perform circles. Must know your canter leads and trotting diagonal. These riders can also go over jumps up to 18"- 2'. Class tuition is based on one month enrollment and runs perpetually month to month.

Advanced English Classes

These riders are able to Walk, Trot, Canter on the correct lead and diagonals. They can also perform lead changes on their mount. Advanced riders typically jump 2' 6"- 3' foot jumps. They learn control, balance and the ability to keep their horse straight. Riders are taught valuable techniques to help them be successful in the Hunter and Jumper arena. Class tuition is based on one month enrollment and runs perpetually month to month.
